"Homely"? Isn't That A Nice Way Of Saying "Unattractive?"

Homely wasn't always a word to describe the drab and unkempt, but perhaps through distortion and conditioning, it had become misused and therefor misunderstood. At its core, it means pleasant, comfortable, congenial, & wholesome. It implies a type of welcome & hospitality that nurtures and brings forth the most secure and natural truth of the Self. 

What does Homely truly mean?

What is the Homely House Project?
The Homely House is a dream I have visited consistently since 2014. Though perhaps it was nudged into my life much earlier as a child always in love with model houses, architecture, and model towns. It is my ideal to create , establish, and operate a center that is at its core the most complimentary environment for the development & celebration of the best a creative & spiritual life has to offer. As more and more of the population becomes awake to their own spiritual truth and the beauty and expansiveness of it all, more centers of community & growth support that transformation. It offers plenty for guests, hosts, presenters, & teachers: lodging, event halls, conference & class rooms, creative studios, & sacred spaces. From day events to retreats, from holidays to weddings, for gatherings big and small, it is a home of harmony & light. 
Imagine a space where you, your dearest creators, speakers, teachers, & practitioners could all work, study, & celebrate together! Where the advancement of the creative & spiritual processes is not only an intention it is life... Let's make it happen and not stop with one. One begets more and the more are served. I fully anticipate many a Homely House
