I want to preface this with understanding that not everyone is going to begin this with a resonance with the concept of the sins as pro-ported by organized religion. Completely understandable. However we CAN actually understand the nature of our emotional / spiritual energies by examining the powerful and profound effects that our emotions and mental states have on our well-being in mind, body, and spirit. As you proceed , please keep in mind that the concept of sin can and should be observed without projection of implication & persecution. Most by now have some conceptual idea of the “Seven Deadly Sins” or the “Seven Graces” by now. If we can remove ourselves from the connotation of their origin within organized religion (and we should) we can actually see an interesting correspondence with each chakra. It’s very interesting to see how completely separate spiritual paths can share kernels of truth in spite of never blending or crossing over one another. The systems compliment each other extremely well. Now the concept of sin as it is understood in the Western World is something I find to be a difficult matter. Sin in “westernese” is fraught with connotations of persecution, judgment, and guilt. However, if we are to maintain any spiritual acumen we must release this conditioning and consider how sin might be better understood. In the East, impurity is not something that is considered a thing of guilt or judgment, but merely a part of the human condition. It is only here in the west where we have allowed our egos to impose a sort of superficial perfectionism on the concept of sin and purity. Let that go.So how are Sins and Graces (remember, ignoring organized religion here!) related to the chakras? Well they correspond quite well. The Chakras, like organs themselves, can become strong or weak depending on how they are treated and cared for. Because the chakras govern our emotional and mental state as it relates to the body and spirit, they can also contribute to how we create a vibrational match to the experiences we undergo every waking moment of our lives. Remember, our thoughts alone do nothing to manifest reality, it is the energy generated by emotional availability and direction of that energy that create reality. As I always say “You are not here to learn how to manifest. You are always manifesting. You are here to learn how to consciously get your manifestations under control.”The Crown Chakra

This is really interesting. I always saw the correlation myself, so it's nice to see that it has some truth. This can help us also to see what chakras are out of whack. I need to work on my heart and solar plexus these days. :-p

I was just laying in bed thinking about this. I saw the correlation and then went through my chakras trying to match each sin with each chakra. I matched them all and proceeded to google to see if anyone thought of this before. I’m surprised to see that I got them mostly matched up correctly in my head before seeing this. I just had pride and greed mixed up (I had third eye as pride and crown as greed) and I had gluttony and sloth mixed up. (I had gluttony as solar plexus because it is the stomach and has to do with food and childlike behavior which results in taking more than needed, and I had the root chakra as sloth because it is “rooted” and one can sometimes become too rooted and turn lazy) I still think I’m right on that last one but that just may be my pride ;)

All of mine have been severely damaged by my western culture. It was a lost cause from birth. Literally, I was mind conditioned by the illuminati to have every single chakra blocked and so is everyone around me. I don't care if it keeps my thyroid blocked. I won't forgive them and on Armageddon I will hunt them down and eat from their dead bodies one by one. They need to learn that they aren't Gods.

You can't blame Western culture for victimizing your chakras yourself responsible for your chakras. On the other hand. Have you thought about Eastern culture? They may be. More aware or possibly more concentric about the chakras and other pseudo-spiritual human minded ideas about the soul and The Flash in the mind, but do you not see the Insidious debauchery that goes along with it? Not to mention that if they are aware and continue to subvert virtue, then does that not make them more? Sinful or more responsible? Western Civilization Shows wickedness for what it is. Very illuminating that you have nicely correlated the Chakras with the seven songs and seven Grace's. Great article.
