Quick Reference Herb & Oil Correspondences For Magickal Workings & Your Spiritual Practice

Blessed Be all my Soul Family, Friends, & Allies, after years of video production on Youtube I have decided that I wanted to create an easy reference guide for all of you magickal practitioners & aspiring practitioners out there to refer to whenever you want to incorporate their energies into you craft!

Now for the present, this is intended to be a quick reference with a chief focus on the most readily available & accessible herbs & oils you can get your hands on. However there will be some included that may be harder to find. It is also important to remember that each herb / oil will have its own unique behavior & style of bringing about the effect you desire with your spells, ceremonies, & workings, & I will make note of my own findings where I feel it necessary. As you practice & your work matures, you will find there are certain herbs & oils that work more deeply & effectively with your own unique energy signature versus others (I myself have my own list of "go to" ingredients myself, all seasoned practitioners do). So don't be surprised if you start noticing what works better for you versus others. You will also notice repeats now and again, so don't go crazy looking for what you might already have! How certain herbs & oils overlap in their correspondences can also give a big hint as to HOW they will work or do their job.

Now of course this is just a quick list of herbs that have provided here and I will be adding to this page as time goes on. But my first priority while getting this page up is to provide something that is comprehensive & comprised of most readily available (garden / spice rack) herbs with a few more specialties added.

Final note: Using dry herbs versus essential oils makes no difference with these correspondences. It is about the ingredient itself & what it brings to the table. And always, be accountable & responsible when using herbs & oils. Do not ingest any essential oils / resins or use undiluted oils on your skin. Take care with any flammable / volatile materials (ie: oils) not to put you or others at risk. You are responsible for being a good keeper of your tools & spaces. Keep them away from children & pets. Never use any of these tools as a substitute for psychiatric or physical health care. And always research the safety of each herb & know your own allergies to better mind your own needs & circumstances.

Advice For Creating Blends, Concoctions, & Deciding
What & What For:

More is not more... and less isn't always more for that matter either. When you are working with herbs & oils, you want to make sure you understand WHY you are using that herb & for what purpose. This is why magickal workings, recipes, & practitioners balance variety with their intentions.  Using one herb in a spell or ceremony to accomplish 3 tasks for your intention will likely only result in one of those tasks being accomplished, even though your intention had 3 tasks in mind. However, going desperately overboard and using 20 herbs / oils to accomplish 3 tasks will only create a chaotic mess that... if you're lucky... amounts to nothing. So it's important to find the middle ground.

Say for instance, Jordan wants to do a spell for Better Business. That is their intention. What goes into "better business" you might ask? Well you'd of course want some good luck with money & wealth, but better business can also mean better quality customers/clientele & Peace & Harmony in the workplace.
So maybe an herb or oil for each factor is better than trying to have one do the work of three.

So if Jordan wanted to make powder to scatter at the office, or dress a candle with an oil blend, or fill a pouch or sachet, I would recommend choosing 3 , but making sure each was unique to what task they had to accomplish.

A simple Better Business Spell blend could be:
Choosing one unique herb from the Peace & Harmony List
Choosing one unique herb from the Friendship & Companionship List
Choosing one unique herb from the Wealth, Good Luck, & Money List

And all three added up equals... Better business!

This is an important mode of thinking to practice when choosing herbs & oils for magickal work. Focusing soley on money will bring Jordan prosperity, but maybe not a happy work life. Choosing all peace & friendship oriented correspondences leaves money out entirely. Careful, decisive consideration & balance is key for a successful blend.
